Events tend to allow us to ‘stop time’ for a brief moment to enjoy the people who surround us in memorable settings. They allow us to recognize and acknowledge people. They provide the platform to celebrate a milestone in someone’s life. Each event is unique, and we strive to customize each event to the client’s personality, needs, and goals.
I created an event planning company that I can be proud of. This business inherently brings three of my passions together: making a difference for people, celebrating love, and traveling. I am dedicated to each event being unique, personal, and memorable.
I have been coordinating, supervising, and leading events for over 10 years, and am the founder/president of the Event Planners Association-Denver Chapter. These events have ranged from managing college conferences with over 2000 attendees, to choreographing fashion shows, to creating cultural dance and food demonstrations, to fundraisers, to organizing launches for organizations, and of course destination weddings. Several of these events received newsworthy commendations.
I have spent several years living abroad, in France and in the Philippines, and have traveled Europe extensively via plane, train, and backpack at different intervals of my life. I now live with my husband and 2 sons in Colorado- where when I am not running after them or hoping to get a nap, I love to hike, read a good book, snuggle on the couch to a movie, drink hot chocolate, bake, dance, and eat yummy food. Oh, and go on dates with my handsome husband of course.
I’m from Buffalo, NY and I’ve lived in the Denver area for almost four years now. I am kind of a Jill of many trades. Most important of those trades, I am a teacher, a ballroom dancer and instructor, and of course, a Wedding specialist.
I have always wanted to be a wedding planner since the first time I was a flower girl in my first wedding at three years old. Since then I have always been the go-to wedding informant for family and friends. The excitement of a wedding is contagious and I love being a part of that. My absolute favorite part of a wedding is the couples first dance. To me, the first dance, is a physical presentation of two people coming together as one.
When I’m not planning memorable moments through my many trades, I’m found spending time with family, shopping, cuddling up to a good book or movie, experimenting in my cooking, knitting or trying to conquer any crafty thing I find on Pinterest. I love being in the mountains whether it’s for hiking, tourist adventures, camping, or visiting with family. I have yet to ski or snowboard but it is definitely on my list of Colorado things to do.
I am so excited to be part of the Storytellers Events Family and can’t wait to help make your event the most memorable event for you!
Looking for a hopeless romantic? Trusting you’ll find that perfect event planner who will be with you from “yes!” to “I Do!”??? Well, look no further! My experience includes having planned weddings and baby showers for my siblings and relatives, along with planning wedding receptions for several friends and acquaintances.
My wedding networking has found many, terrific vendors that make this line of work so much fun. My work in Disney World allowed me to acquire an admiration of all things sparkly and shiny and an attention to detail. My addiction to Nicholas Sparks books gives that touch of romance and buying every bridal magazine on the market allows for inspiration! I am creative, imaginative, and absolutely LOVE weddings!
I am a recent college graduate from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) and I am excited to see what the next chapter of my life has in store for me. I have fortunately lived in Colorado my entire life and I love it here.
Event planning has always been an interest of mine, it started back when I was in High School and had the opportunity to help plan my junior prom. I got my start planning the occasional get together, coordinating caterings through my job, and helping with friends weddings. Helping a bride and groom plan one of their happiest moments together is priceless and I am so thankful to be a part of Storytellers Events.
When I’m not working or helping with a wedding, I find myself spending time with friends and family, exploring new cuisines, country line dancing and of course shopping, cause what gal doesn’t like to shop. I love to be outdoors, whether it’s going for a long run, taking advantage of the mountains, boating or enjoying a concert at an outdoor venue.
