Denver A List | Voted top 5 Denver Wedding Planners

Denver A LIst

Yes, we are finally blogging about our recent accolade…being voted in the top 5 Denver wedding planners for 2013…

Honestly, I have postponed posting about this because I was not quite sure what to write…how to say ‘thank you’ without making it sound insincere or over-the-top.

And today, I figure, who cares?  So, here goes!

Thank you so much to all of you who have supported us since I had this ‘crazy’ idea to start an international wedding planning company 2- 1/2 years ago.  It continues to be an amazing journey, and I continue to feel blessed by the people I meet by being in this amazing wedding industry.

I am humbled at the success we have had in the little amount of time we have been open, and even though I know in my brain it took a lot of work, I feel extremely lucky at the same time.

Thank you to all the amazing couples, their families, and their friends, who have opened up their wedding days to us to share in the joy, the love, the laughter, and the happy tears…every wedding I go to I wonder how I got to be so lucky that I get to witness such love…and to top it off, it’s my job!  Does it get any better?

I huge thank you to those who have worked diligently by my side to make this company work!  You are my extended family, and I know I could not do it without you!  Veronica, Suzanne, Candace, Liz, and Mariah- our Wednesday night dinner meetings are just the best!

And to my amazing (and super handsome) husband who held my hand and talked me through all those days when I doubted myself and all the time I was putting into the business.

Ah- now that I am done, I feel like I gave a speech at the Oscars or something…  Love you guys!  And very excited for what the next year will bring!

Phew- enough with the cheesiness…summary:  thank you.

A University of Denver Wedding | Jewish Ceremony | Denver Wedding Planner

When I first spoke with this wedding couple, they were living in New York City and wanting to get married in Denver, Colorado.  They had family here, and had plans to move here before the year was out (they ended up moving a couples months before the wedding while the groom took the bar exam! Phew).

We chose this beautiful ceremony location because the bride had family who went to Denver University, and they loved the idea of the gardens and the fountain.  The venue did not disappoint.

Also special was the Chuppah- handmade and gorgeous, and the beautiful globes filled with flowers running down the aisle.  Spectacular. Take a look for yourself.  Have we mentioned we love being wedding planners :)?

Save my Colorado Wedding | Epoch Times | Storytellers Events

We are honored that Epoch Times reached out to us helping with the ‘Save my Colorado Wedding’ initiative that was founded by Sarah Roshan with Trulife Studios.  Epoch Times wanted to help get the word out and to support us in our endeavor to help displaced couples find new venues due to the recent severe flooding that has occurred in Colorado.

Thank you for the feature!

Save my Colorado Wedding | Colorado Wedding Planner

If you have not already seen footage, Colorado has been hit with some major rain, and this rain has caused flooding in many of the most beautiful areas of the state including Boulder, Longmont, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs (where I got married), and Estes Park.

Because of the severity of the floods, many wedding venues have had to cancel the weddings held at their venues this weekend (and possibly moving forward) because they are under water.  We have received several inquiries from wedding couples seeing if there are venues and vendors still available to ensure that the wedding “will go on”  (insert the tune to “The Show Must Go On” by Queen ;).  We have been working diligently to help these couples create their dream wedding under extreme circumstances.

As a result of these displacements, the wonderful people/vendors in the Colorado wedding industry have banned together to help, in the form of “Save my Colorado Wedding.”  We are here to help!  Let’s make the best of this rain, I mean, it does signify good luck and prosperity for the couples right?
