Honeymoon Planning/Destination Wedding Help

Storytellers Events has teamed up with E-Travel Unlimited to create a honeymoon/destination wedding event!

We have received many questions related to travel recently, and wanted to provide an evening to help ease your mind!  The idea is to provide you with some information and to give you the opportunity to ask us as many questions as you would like in regards to planning your honeymoon or your destination wedding (anywhere in the world).

We will also have a representative there from Palace Resorts to provide their expertise, though we will not be limited to only that resort.

To make it even more fun, there will be light snacks provided by:

The Gourmet Kitchen (delicious!)

door prizes including a stay at a Mexican Resort!

So, if you are still struggling with ideas on what to do for your honeymoon, or figuring out if a destination wedding is what you want, please join us!

Date:  June 6, 2012

Time:  6:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

Address:  7208 S. Tucson Way, Suite 255, Centennial, CO  80110

We hope to see you there!

Cocktails and Connections with the Knot

The ladies of Storytellers Events converge at the Mile High Station!

Cielle, Karen and I (Leah) spent Tuesday night mixing and mingling at another one of the industry’s fabulous events: Cocktails and Connections, hosted by The Knot.

We all had a chance to make some new connections to some amazing vendors such as Cori Cook Floral Design, who is in the process of opening her new floral studio in Golden as we speak. (Check back for her Grand Opening Party). Make sure to follow her on her blog.

We also connected with some of our all time favorites like fab photographers Christina Kiffney and Jackie Nuxoll of Selah Photography. Make sure to check out their dynamic portfolios.

We almost (literally) bumped into Amanda Reeves, event specialist for the Four Season Hotel, Denver- always lovely to chat with her (and still love those chandeliers!)

As usual, Biscuits and Berries put on a deluxe spread of scrumptious food uniquely displayed in the back of a vintage Ford. While Plum Sage Flowers provided us with some eye candy with their beautiful floral design, and Happy Cakes tempted our tummies with mini cupcakes and tasty macaroons.

On our way out we stopped by the Photo Booth for a bout goofy fun…We won’t be posting those pictures…. let’s just say, it was a bit late and there wasn’t  time for a re-do…

A big Thank You to The Knot for a wonderful time.

Fashion Show at Mod Livin’ with Emerge Salon in Denver

I had such an amazing time being part of Emerge Salon’s 3rd year celebration!  The stylists are phenomenal.  The salon is a fun place to be.  And the clients all feel like they are part of a special community.  Based on the turn-out, Emerge Salon will enjoy many more years of success, because they care about their clients.

To celebrate their salon, a fashion show was created to showcase their talents and to also commemorate each stylist’s heritage- French, Native American, German, and Scottish.  In addition, they added a make-up station, a photo-booth, and had DJ Danny One Shoe spin some fun tunes that kept the crowd dancing.  Take a look at the amazing photos and if you are in the beauty and fashion industries and are looking for ways to entice people to attend your events, holding a fashion show is a sure crowd pleaser.

P.S.  Look closely and you may find me in these pics…

A special thank you to Christina Kiffney Photography for capturing some wonderful moments of the show.
